* At BOTEH we are shaped by our love of heritage, a feeling for texture and forever crush on colour. It all begins with a daydream, a whim, a wave of nostalgia ~ but it is our makers who translate our reverie into a wearable reality. With decades of experience working in fashion apparel we have been fortunate to build meaningful relationships with like minded artisans. With many BOTEH pieces finished by hand, the ageless beauty of BOTEH is the handiwork of craftspeople who graciously lend their culture to our process ~ from print mills and machinists to embroiderers and many clever hands and beautiful minds in-between.
Dotted across India and China, all three of our makers are accredited with SEDEX/ SMETA international certifications and share in our commitment to the art, the quality and the ethics of production. An open dialogue between BOTEH and our makers has created a culture of innovation designed to inspire better outcomes, both creatively and ethically. It is our ongoing mission to champion these artisan communities by giving new life to age-old traditions.
A long time believer in natural beauty, BOTEH’s fabrications are purely natural (a.k.a cellulosic or protein origin). We have made the conscious decision to work exclusively with these cloths because they tend to be more sustainable and enduring than their synthetic counterparts. Beyond their virtue, we believe that the sensory experience of wearing natural fibres is one of life’s simplest luxuries.
ORGANIC COTTON GOTS
As the height of summer burns bright we introduce our latest, and lightest, cotton cloth ~ barely there, breezy and GOTS certified.
EUROPEAN FLAX LINEN

CUSTOM APPLIQUE TECHNIQUE
Unique to BOTEH, our appliqué tunics have fast become a coveted coastal essential that lends easy elegance to the beach, and the bar. Two years in the making, BOTEH worked with our artisan makers to find the sweet spot between fabric weight and its texture to ensure the style’s custom ombré -smocking would ripple breezily down the body.
HAND BLOCK PRINTING
From the very beginning, BOTEH has sought to uphold the beauty of age-old technique in a way that feels modern and wearable. The nature of artisan tradition is that it takes more time and extra care. It is this artful approach of our makers that informs the evolution of our collections. A desire to create something truly unique inspired us to work closely with our artisans to design a custom block prints.
